Step 3 - Configure Sharing and Roles (Required)
Set roles and sharing rules.
Note:
- Permissions control what someone can do
- Roles bundle permissions by job function
- Users inherit role access plus any additional permissions granted directly

☐ If needed, enable external sharing. Resources shared externally will require admin approval before permitted.
☐ Go to Settings > Roles
☐ Assign capabilities (for example: Vault access, Model Selector, Workflow Builder)
Important: Disabling sharing later can reset existing items to private. Start with minimum necessary access and set your sharing policy early.

Step 4 - Enable Knowledge Sources (Required)
Turn on the legal and regulatory data sources your teams rely on so research and precedent work is effective from day one.

☐ If SSO fails, verify region URL, avoid IdP-initiated flows, and confirm allowlisting and group assignments
☐ From user settings, customize roles and capabilities per user as needed
Tip: If you cannot edit a permission, check your access in the Users and Roles settings pages and the relevant Help Center article, then contact Support with the permission name, workspace, and user email.
