What's New with Assistant?
Two distinct modes - one for discovery and one for drafting.
Assist Mode: It’s best for answering quick questions or writing high-level summaries regarding complex legal documents. Quick Tip: Assist mode works best when you upload a specific document, or small set of documents, and ask relevant questions.
Draft Mode: It’s best for generating draft content such as emails, contract clauses, or sections of briefs.
Quick Tip: Start your next memo with Harvey rather than a blank Word document.
Chat interface - Engage in a dynamic conversation about your work
Now, in both Assist and Draft mode, you can deepen your understanding or iterate on an in-progress draft.
For Assist Mode, that means you can ask follow-up questions or use AI-generated suggestions to gain more clarity where needed.
Try following up on Harvey’s responses and asking for it to expand the scope of your original question, explore another provision or find a specific piece of information.
For Draft Mode, you can highlight specific text Harvey generated and ask Harvey to revise the section based on specific instructions.
If you’re drafting an indemnification clause with Harvey, you can always highly relevant portions and ask Harvey to revise it with a specific carve-out or additional condition.
