Overview

The Library feature allows you to save and load prompts or examples, making it easier to quickly access relevant information and improve team collaboration.

Users can customize prompts, while Admins have the ability to customize both prompts and examples within the Library tab.

View our ‘Customizing and Managing Library’ article to learn more about Admin capabilities.

Library Tab

The Library tab contains prompts and examples saved from the Assistant and EDGAR features in Harvey.

A prompt is the question you ask Harvey. Prompts help you easily perform common tasks.

An example is a completed Harvey query, including the prompt, document, and response. Examples show what tasks Harvey can accomplish. (While users can apply examples, only Admins have the ability to create and edit examples.)

Selecting the ‘Prompt’ or ‘Example’ options will display all available items, categorized by their creator:

  • Private: Prompts created by individual users for personal use, visible only to the creator.

  • Team: Prompts and examples created by workspace Admins for the entire team.

  • Harvey: Prompts and examples provided by the Harvey team to help you get started. Admins can choose to hide these examples at their discretion.

Prompts

Users can save and load prompts from the Library in both Assistant and EDGAR.

Saving Prompts

To save a prompt, simply click on 'Save Prompt' and assign a title.

Admins can further organize prompts and examples by assigning categories and tags, such as practice areas, categories, and document types. These tags will appear in your Library tab, making it easier to quickly find the prompt you need.

Loading Prompts

A saved prompt can be automatically populated into the query box by clicking the 'Load Prompt' button.

Examples

Only workspace Admins can create and manage examples, enabling customization to meet the specific needs of the team.
