Release Communications
We are committed to keeping you informed of and prepared for feature release and product changes. To that end, we have outlined a tiered process for sharing updates about our product releases that can be found in our Help Center. Please note that some features are rolled out by default, while others are opt-in at your discretion.
What’s Been Released This Month
Sharepoint Integration: January 9th
Our first DMS integration enables users to upload Word docs, PowerPoint slides, Excel sheets, and PDFs to Assistant and Vault directly from SharePoint/OneDrive. To enable for your workspace, visit the Integrations page in Settings and toggle the integration on. For more information, visit our Help Center.
To help prioritize future integrations, we would love to hear about what integrations matter most to you—please submit your input in this form.
User Profiles: January 9th
User profiles are the first step towards building deeper personalization within Harvey and are being progressively rolled out to workspaces. For more information, visit our Help Center.
Library automatic filtering based on user profile: Library preselects the relevant filter for prompts and examples based on the user profile’s profession and high-level practice area, such as Transactional or Litigation.
Assistant outputs based on your preferred language: Harvey aligns outputs to your preferred language, including dialects like British/American English. Harvey’s response quality and style will not change based on a user profile.
What's Coming This Month
Assistant UI Update: January 17th
We are updating the Assistant composer—where users input queries, upload documents, and select knowledge sources—in preparation for new features that will be added to Assistant in 2025. Below is an example of what the composer will look like for a user.
Library content refresh: January 31st
Over 200 examples will be added to the Harvey Library covering new use cases and core functionalities. As always, you can hide any Harvey prompt or example from your workspace.
As part of this update, new and existing Harvey prompts and examples will receive more granular practice area tags (e.g., Capital Markets, Intellectual Property) to match the practice areas available in User Profiles. These tags will also be available for you to update your custom team prompts and examples. Library pre-filtering will continue to be based on high-level practice areas, such as Transactional and Litigation.
Assistant Workflows: January 30th (beta)
In Q1, we will be introducing agentic workflows in Assistant. We will tentatively start a beta testing period for these workflows on January 30–sign up to be a beta tester if you are interested in participating. More details to come soon.
