Release Notes
Shaped Web Search
Shaped Web Search introduces configurable controls that help you refine how Harvey searches the open web, improving relevance and source quality without changing the default workflow.
What’s New
Shaped Web Search adds configurable controls to Harvey’s web search experience, allowing you to guide where and how results are retrieved by selecting or excluding specific URLs.

Why It Matters
Standard web search works well for general queries, but it can introduce noise when your work depends on specific, high-quality sources.
Shaped Web Search gives you precision without friction:
- Reduce irrelevant or low-quality results
- Focus on authoritative, domain-specific content
- Align search behavior with your organization’s research standards
- Maintain the same “just ask” experience when shaping isn’t needed
This is especially useful for workflows that require trusted inputs, such as regulatory research, financial analysis, or industry-specific review.
How to Use
Note: Shaped Web Search is only available if users opt in to using Parallel as a subprocessor.
