Coming This Month
Assistant
Assist mode update - April 17 (Tier 2)
We're updating Assist mode to improve usability and mirror the Assistant workflows UI. Changes include a new chat-style UI, exposing the model’s thinking states, and suggested followups that persist in thread. AI models remain the same.
These changes will be generally available on April 17, with early access starting April 3. Contact your Harvey account team if you are interested in early access.
Draft mode model update: April 24 (Tier 2)
We're enhancing Draft mode with a newer model. The updated model delivers longer outputs, reduced hallucinations, and improved legal reasoning—similar to Assist mode—while maintaining Draft mode's characteristic tone and style. This update includes a more recent knowledge cutoff of October 2023, compared to the previous October 2021 cutoff. There are no other UI or experience changes to Draft mode with this rollout.
This change will be made on April 24, with early access starting this week. Contact your Harvey account team if you are interested in early access.
Knowledge source composer suggestions: April 24 (Tier 3)
The Assistant composer will feature shortcuts to recently used and suggested knowledge sources, so users can quickly query over projects, knowledge bases, or knowledge sources.
Knowledge source updates (Tier 3)
EDGAR (April 17): Coverage will include 27 of the most requested filing types—dating back to the early 2000s—with the ability to select up to four at once. This update also brings improved handling of market trend questions and broader enhancements to reduce hallucinations. The full list of supported filing types will be available in the EDGAR knowledge source in your Harvey workspace.
EUR-Lex (April 24): Coverage will include the entire EUR-Lex website—including EU Legal Acts, EU Case Law, and National Law and Jurisprudence—and will be refreshed regularly.
Sidebar with global search: May 1 (Tier 3)
Harvey’s sidebar is being refreshed, including a global search button for users to search over their threads, projects, and workflows, as well as quick access to view and create new Vault projects.
Web browsing: May 8 (Tier 2)
Users will be able to select the web as a knowledge source, allowing them to incorporate real-time web content as context for their queries. More details on supported use cases and functionality will follow in the coming weeks.
Vault
“Save to Vault” from Assistant: April 10 (Tier 3)
In an Assistant thread, users will be able to quickly save documents to a new or existing Vault project.
Vault upload failure log: April 10 (Tier 3)
When uploading files to Vault, any file that fails to process will now be surfaced in a single pop-up that allows you to understand the failure reason.
Admin Functionality
Custom workspace guidance and notices: April 17 (Tier 3)
Admins can offer custom guidance and important announcements to users through a recurring pop-up notice and the workspace guidance modal—now located in the left sidebar for easy access throughout the app. This can be managed in the Admin section of the app.
Admin-managed user profiles: May 1 (Tier 3)
Workspace admins can modify user profiles to personalize the experience further, influencing users’ library and workflow rankings in Assistant. They can also filter users in the Users table by job title, practice area, and language.

Assistant
Assistant workflows (Tier 1)
Agents are model systems that can effectively plan, interact, and adapt to solve a task. These workflows are Harvey’s first AI agents for professional work, offering a more intuitive, efficient, and powerful way to interact with Harvey.
Users now have access to the following workflows, with more continually added to support common tasks and processes:

Vault
Knowledge bases (Tier 2)
Knowledge bases allow admins to store and distribute internal knowledge—like precedents, templates, and playbooks—across their organization. Users with access to Vault can instantly query over a bank of approved materials via Assistant, without the hassle of manual document uploading or searching.
Vault projects are also now visible as a top-level option in the Assistant composer, instead of an option in the “Attach files” dropdown.
For more information, visit our Help Center.
Open Review table documents in Assistant (Tier 3)
Users can now select specific documents within a Vault Review table to open in Assistant. This works with filters, so users can filter to relevant items and then query over them in Assist or Draft modes.
Admin Functionality
Self-service permissions (Tier 2)
Admins can view and manage permissions directly in the Harvey app, eliminating the need to submit a request to Harvey's team. This update introduces roles and permission management, providing admins with better visibility into and control over your workspace's access control settings. For more information, visit our Help Center.
Workspace Projects (Tier 3)
Admins can now view all Vault projects within their workspace in Workspace Projects, the same way they can view all queries in Workspace History. Admins will also be able to modify or delete projects as desired. For more information, visit our Help Center.
