Overview

Harvey’s SharePoint Integration provides seamless access to your organization’s SharePoint environment directly within Harvey. By connecting Harvey with SharePoint, users can search, view, and collaborate on SharePoint files without leaving the platform, enhancing productivity across teams.

The integration uses Microsoft’s OAuth 2.0 for secure and authorized access, protecting data privacy and ensuring compliance. Workspace admins retain control, with options to disable the integration or revoke user access tokens as needed via the Harvey App Settings.

Enabling SharePoint Integration

Please note: Workspace Admins must first enable the SharePoint integration at the workspace level, before a user can enable it in their individual account.

Each user must individually authenticate SharePoint to grant the necessary permissions to Harvey for upload functionality. There are two ways to set this up:

From Assistant, Workflows, or Vault:

  1. Click the “Upload from SharePoint/OneDrive” button in Assistant, Workflows, or Vault.

  2. Here, you’ll be prompted to log in through an authentication flow.

  3. Grant Harvey permission to access your SharePoint/OneDrive files securely on your behalf.

  4. Once authenticated, you’re ready to select files.

From your Settings page:

  1. Go to the Settings section in the Harvey app.

  2. Open the Integrations tab.

  3. Find the SharePoint card and click 'Connect'.

  4. Authenticate your account.

Once connected, you can access the SharePoint/OneDrive file picker directly without needing to reauthenticate in future sessions.

Disabling SharePoint Integration

If you ever need to reset your connection:

  1. Go to the Settings section of the Harvey app.

  2. Open the Integrations tab.

  3. Find the SharePoint card and click 'Disconnect'.
