Overview: What is Deep Research at Harvey?

Deep Research allows Harvey to perform in-depth analysis and synthesize information from across available sources to produce comprehensive, report-style answers.

Think of it this way:

  • A regular query is like a quick Google search—fast, direct, and surface-level.
  • A Deep Research query is like conducting multiple searches—connecting insights across sources, filtering for relevancy, and taking notes.

Deep Research plans and refines its research strategy automatically as it works, helping you explore complex topics efficiently and uncover the most relevant information.
