Suggestions in Assistant Threads
Assistant threads can now suggest recommended workflows if your task mirrors an existing Harvey workflow. This makes it faster and easier to discover and leverage workflows already available to you.
What’s New
Assistant threads now surface recommended workflows directly in your conversation when your request closely aligns with an existing workflow.
After you receive a response in Assistant, you may see:
- A clickable workflow suggestion
- A prompt to upload files (when relevant)
- A deep analysis option (when additional structured reasoning would help)
Selecting a suggested workflow takes you directly to that workflow so you can run a structured, repeatable process instead of manually recreating the task.
Why It Matters
Many users rely on Assistant for day-to-day work — even when a structured workflow already exists.
This update:
- Reduces time spent searching for relevant workflows
- Encourages consistent formatting and outputs
- Helps you transition repeatable tasks into structured processes
- Increases speed to output for recurring work
If you regularly prompt Assistant for similar tasks, suggested workflows help you standardize and scale that work.
How to Use
No setup is required.
- Open an Assistant thread and enter your prompt.
- Review the generated response.
- If a relevant workflow exists, look for a suggested workflow pane below the output.
- Click the suggestion to navigate directly to the workflow.
- Complete and run the workflow as needed.
You can continue working in Assistant if you choose not to use the suggested workflow.
Known Limitations
- Suggestions appear only after an Assistant response is generated.
- A suggestion appears only when your request closely matches an existing workflow.
- You will only see workflows that you have permission to access.
- Suggestions guide you to a workflow — they do not automatically run it.
- Not every prompt will trigger a recommendation.

When a task would benefit from more rigorous reasoning or structured review, Assistant may suggest deep analysis alongside workflow recommendations.
