Release Notes
Convert to a Template Workflow in Word
Turn any document into a reusable template — Harvey will automatically detect names, addresses, and other variable fields, replacing them with placeholders.
What's New
The Convert to a Template feature will let you instantly transform an existing Word document into a reusable Harvey template.
- When you select Convert to a Template, Harvey will scan your document and automatically identify personalized or variable information (such as names, addresses, and dates).
- These details will be replaced with labeled placeholders (e.g., [Name], [Address], [Date]) to create a clean, reusable template.
- You’ll have the opportunity to review and edit all suggested placeholders before saving the final version in your workspace.

Why it Matters
This will make it easy to standardize frequently used documents, such as engagement letters or NDAs, without manually removing client-specific details.
