Release Notes
Use @ to Mention Sources in Assistant (@ Mention in Composer)
Easily reference specific files or knowledge sources by tagging them directly into your query.
What’s New

Easily reference specific files or knowledge sources by tagging them directly into your query with @ mentions. No need to search for Sources to apply. Just type "@", select what you need, and keep writing without breaking focus.
Why it Matters
This update streamlines how you include sources in your work, allowing you to quickly reference relevant context for Harvey. Mentions will also remain visible in your thread for easy reference.
How to Use
From the Assistant home page, type @ in the text box to quickly find and insert attached files or knowledge sources.
Tip: Use mentions to easily reference file names for specific instructions. For example, tell Harvey to “use @[file A name] for [purpose X] and use @[file B name] for [purpose Y].”
FAQs
Q: Can I use @ mentions anywhere in Harvey?
No, @ mentions are only available in the Assistant text box on the home page and in follow-up messages within threads.
Q: Can I edit or move @ mentions after submitting a query?
No. Once submitted, mentions remain static in the thread. You won’t be able to edit, copy, or paste them into a new query.
Q: Will clicking a mention open the file?
Not yet. Mentions display as static references within your message but don’t link directly to the file.
