Create a Playbook Workflow

Create a Playbook lets you turn existing contracts into structured, review-ready playbooks in minutes. Upload one or more agreements, and Harvey will extract common rules, identify standard positions, and flag fallback language—giving you a clear, editable framework for contract review and negotiation.

Harvey supports two flexible paths:

1. Firm has a standard contract

   • Upload the standard contract
   • Harvey will extract rule names and standard positions
   • Upload up to 10 additional contracts, and Harvey will flag fallback positions when language is less favorable
2. Firm does not have a standard contract

   • Upload up to 10 contracts
   • Harvey will analyze and group common rules
   • The most favorable terms will be marked as standard; any deviations will be identified as fallback positions

This workflow helps legal teams codify negotiation positions, standardize review, and accelerate training or scaling of legal review teams—all from existing materials.
