What's New

Public Knowledge Sources are now enabled by default, giving your organization immediate access to more Harvey capabilities without additional setup.

Admins can manage Knowledge Source access at any time in Settings → Knowledge.

Why It Matters

Harvey works best when it can draw on a broad set of public Knowledge Sources, including statutes and regulations across the jurisdictions where your teams work. With broader default access to public Knowledge Sources in Harvey, users can:

  • Quickly pull in the right authorities and references
  • Move faster on new or unfamiliar matters
  • Get more complete, source scoped responses

When users query Harvey, Knowledge Sources are now surfaced by relevance, based on factors like general location and recent usage (example image below).

How to Use

To adjust access to public Knowledge Sources, Admins can follow the steps below:

  1. From Harvey’s web app, open Settings
  2. Select Knowledge from the menu panel
  3. Use the toggles to adjust workspace access

FAQs

Q: What is changing with Knowledge Source access?

Harvey will automatically enable all available public Knowledge Sources for workspaces. Users will no longer depend on admins to manually toggle individual sources on before they become visible and usable.

Q: Will this affect workspace permissions or other settings?

No. This update will only affect public Knowledge Sources. It will not change feature access, user permissions, sub-processor settings, or any private or customer-specific configurations.
