The Harvey Word Add-In now supports both Assistant and Vault, bringing AI-powered editing and Q&A directly into your drafting workflow—no character limits, no switching tabs.

Toggle between two powerful modes:

Ask mode: Use Harvey's Assistant to ask questions about the full document or a highlighted section. Ideal for ideation, drafting, and legal analysis.
Edit mode: Apply Harvey’s suggestions to the document—either all at once or one-by-one. Great for refining language, formatting, or applying changes from prior precedent.

Use Vault directly in Word:

Upload precedent documents from Vault to guide edits, ensure consistency, and reflect firm-approved language.

Pro tip: Start in Ask mode to refine your objective and gather suggested edits—then switch to Edit mode to implement.
